In one of the most memorable final heats in WQS history, Vans team rider, Pat Gudauskas narrowly lost to Australian, Owen Wright. The two recorded the highest combined final heat score in any WQS event, 19.23 - 18.93.
In an earlier round, Pat pulled the first Rodeo Clown flip ever in a WQS event. In the final, Pat pulled the second Rodeo Clown flip. Both efforts earned perfect 10's. In the end, it was not enough to defeat Wright.

Nonetheless, a big congratulations to Pat Gudauskas and Owen Wright for their efforts.
